The Challenge

Holly Perkins, a fitness expert with 30 years of experience, was searching for ways to share her industry expertise and broaden her reach in a one-to-many format. She had been contemplating launching a podcast since 2017, but was held back by high costs and the daunting prospect of managing all the technical aspects herself. Between the equipment, editing, and getting episodes onto listening platforms, Holly was concerned about not knowing where to start and having the bandwidth to keep up.

Our Approach

In 2023, Holly decided it was time to push forward with her podcast and set up a thorough vetting process involving ten different podcast producers and agencies. She ultimately chose The Wave for our comprehensive service offerings and alignment with her needs. Before signing up for production services, we worked together on a launch:

After a seamless launch, The Wave has been handling all aspects of podcast production, including audio editing, show note writing, AI-generated transcripts, and publishing episodes. This allows Holly to focus solely on her content and interact more deeply with her community.

About Holly

Holly Perkins is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a degree in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. She is the author of Lift to Get Lean and the leader of Women’s Strength Nation. Holly is a contributing writer and expert for Women’s Health, SELF, Fitness, Shape, Prevention, Men’s Health and LIVESTRONG. Holly’s mission is to empower women on a personal and spiritual level by leading them into the weight room on a journey of physical strength.
